| Dick Dale, The King
of Surf Guitar, was in great form at his May 25, 2005 performance
at Alexandria, Virginia's Birchmere Music Hall.
The hall was filled with regulars that come to see him each year, as well as new faces. A number of children came to see the legend. Dick delighted the audience when he brought up a young fan to dance on stage during his act. Sam Bolle was at his usual best on the bass guitar. Daxx Neilsen, son of legendary Cheap Trick guitarist Rick Neilsen, did drumming duties for Dick. After the show, fans lined up to say hello to Dick and get CD's and other stuff signed. A great time was had by all, and we hope to see Dick back in 2006! |
